No it ain’t, but close.

This Friday my mate Michael Bugeja and yours truly will be playing at Coach and Horses (9pm onwards) in Valley Road, Birkirkara, in what is probably the first and maybe not the last DJ set dedicated solely to British hits, specifically the golden Britpop years. Rejoice as your ear drum is mis/treated by the sounds of Blur, Suede, Oasis, The Stone Roses, The Happy Mondays, Catatonia (um, yeah), Menswear (no kidding), James, Mansun, Ocean Colour Scene, My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and Mary Chain – while Mikey will be delivering a special one for all you Ska, mod and punk lovers out there – we all love the Clash don’t we? Also some of the more modern British sounds like The Arctic Monkeys n’all that kiddie stuff. Maybe Dan le Sac if we feel like.

In case it rains you may park your car in Psaila Street, there’s a staircase leading down to Valley Road so you want need to pull any heroics to cross the river into your car. Weather report says it’s not going to rain. You believe that?

Anyway, this is the event page and this is yet another flier.

Before I leave, here’s a little gem.
